Today we joined other members of our Chapter for a New Years Day ride and had a blast!
The weather was beautiful all day, with clear skies and dry roads. 23 people riding on 15 bikes and in 3 cars left Hinshaws in Auburn at 11am this morning.
We followed our ride leaders on an hour and a half trip around South King County, ending up at Trotters in Kent. We passed several other groups out for a ride, including a group of at least 30 Harleys as we wound our way around the curves of Dash Point Road. Along the way we got lots of honks and waves from people, adding to the fun of the day. With the addition of a few people who met us at the restaurant we had a total of 31 people and proceeded to take over their back room, making a lot of noise and eating a lot of food, as per usual with this group 🙂 It was a great start to what we are hoping will be a great year of riding!
